1. The Arrival Bus chassis has a truly “flat-floor” skateboard design. Our core materials include aluminium and composites. We have a number of manufacturing techniques in which these materials are utilised. We use both bonding and bolting techniques.

2. Arrival’s battery modules are encased in packs and then inserted into the Arrival Bus chassis skateboard. The drivetrain typically nests in the rear wheel arch assembly.

3. The Arrival Bus has independent suspension all around the vehicle, and although the drivetrain is mounted outboard, it is not directly to the hub. This combination provides the best ride and handling and complements the fully flat-floor approach.

Our prototype vehicles will be on UK streets from next year in trials with our customers. The first production vehicles will be leaving the Bicester Microfactory from Q3 2022.
